GT Xpress 101

I rarely get sucked into infomercials, but my son and I watched this one. I read all of the reviews on Amazon and was a little worried, but decided to give it a try. We have a TINY kitchen and no air conditioning so in the summer it is impossible to use the oven. We get really sick of grilled or microwaved food.
Our GT Express 101 came quickly (we did the 2 for 1). We LOVE it. I make chocolate chip pancake every day for the boys which they love because they can hold it and dip them. We've made omlets, stuffed soup and misc. other meals. We haven't turned our oven on once.
I'm careful about using non-stick spray and cleaning it. I haven't had any trouble with the non-stick coating peeling off. I've also had no trouble cleaning the unit or hinges (a common complaint in the reviews).
I like having two of them because the boys rarely eat the things the adults do. They can have corn dogs (which come out great) while we have stuffed chicken breast.
The other complaint that worried me was one gentleman said everything came out soggy. I haven't found that to be true AT ALL. The eggs come out fluffy, the pancakes perfect (and no standing over the griddle to flip them which makes school mornings MUCH easier).
The ONLY time I had a little sogginess was when I accidentally added too much american cheese to the eggs, oh well. Gooey cheese isn't so bad!
I would recommended this product to anyone with a small, hot kitchen, a busy lifestyle or tired of eating hot dogs and chicken nuggets with the kids!!!!!

Wow, just received my GT xpress. I was Very Skeptical at first and after the third meal in it I cannot brag enough about it. Mine is quick and easy to use, simple cleanup, I just wipe it out and its done. Food tasted much better then I imagined it would. The portion sizes are perfect, if your counting calories the size is just right for your portion control. I love to do vegetables in it, they come out great. I was going to sell my second one but will now keep it for our boat. Great for cooking on Hot summer days when you don't want to use the stove or oven.... I reccomend this product!!!

This item is great for infant sized portions. The non stick coating wore off after about 5 uses despite following instructions for seasoning. Cleaning was an absurdity. Food particles got stuck in the gap between the lid and the base. Burned on food had to be scraped off. We threw it away after about 10 days. We didn't even bother to unpack the second "free' one. That went the way of the first.
Save your money and use a frying pnn.

I Bought the Deluxe on Jan 6th from Ebay Brand New. After a Month the Non-Stick surface is starting to come off. The Company won't help, due to the fact I did not buy directly from them. I very highly recommend not buying this product

Thanks to these reviews, I decided not to buy one. I bought a plain one from Wal Mart for about $15. The wells may not be quite as deep or rounded, but so far it seems to handle the recipes just fine. Thankfully, the maker of this item has their recipes available at their website, which is the only thing I wanted from this anyway.
