Much better than the one from Costco
I bought this after returning one from Costco. The one from Costco has green, yellow and red lights to indicate the propane level. Problem was that it didn't work. I had people over for July 4th and the indicator was green. Next thing you know, I'm out of propane and it still indicates green. I returned it the next day and bought this one.
This one is much better. It give you an accurate measurement of the propane level and uses no batteries. I feel much more confident with this one than the other one. Easy to install too.

BBQ Tank Gauge
I always had trouble trying to estimate gas usage of my BBQ. A friend had this type of gauge on her tank and it worked well. I decided to purchase this gauge for my tank. Now, no more guesswork on gas level. It was easy to install and is easy to read. Sure makes it easier to determine gas level BEFORE that BBQ party. And the price is right! 2008-08-09

So far so good
This was easy to put on and this is my first gas grill. No leaks and no restricted gas flow from what I can tell. My propane tank hasn't been used much, so hard to review the actual functionality, but all I know is that it did go to full when I hooked it up. 2008-08-08

Bought three, none worked
Actually, one of the three that I bought worked for a few minutes. They all refuse to allow the passage of the gas to the grill. I suspect that the wonderful "emergency leak shutoff" is malfunctioning..? and shutting off the internal valve. 2008-07-23

OK, but
I got one of these hoping to use it on my weber grill that has a small 10lb propane tank to help light the charcoal. It doesn't read at all on this tank. I moved it over to a propane heater with a standard size tank and it appears to work just fine but unfortunately the extra 3 1/2" it adds to the hookup means I can't close the door of the cabinet that holds the tank. If neither of these things creates a problem for you it seems to work fine. 2008-07-15
