A brilliant tool and a tip how to clean it
This brush is brilliant. It doesn't ruin your grate like other steel brushes does (this one is not made of steel/iron). So it'll save you the frustration of buying a new grate because the other rusts.
Heres a tip on how to clean it. Mix a bowl of warm water with wash machine soap or a tab. Leave the head of the brush in the water overnight and behold - almost as good as new. Over time the wood/handle near the head will lose its protection, but rather that than an ugly brush :-)

Can't complain! it's a great grill brush!
Before, when I went to buy a new brush I would always get the cheapies; I thought they were all the same, except some came in plastic while others came in wood or aluminum. I was wrong. You do get what you pay for when buying a grill brush, so buy this one! The bristles are stiff enough to clean up all the grit, yet soft enough to not damage your grate. The brush feels nice and sturdy, it feels well built. Also, this brush has a handy scraper on the end which is extremely handy with the really tough crusties (on your GRILL silly). 2005-04-19

Great product
Amazon's price is better than I could find in the local Mega-lo-marts, FWIW.
Nothing fancy here -- just does one job and does it well. The "scraper" portion fits perfectly on my Weber cooking grate(Charcoal -- I understand the Gas grates are larger). The brush also works very well, and the long handle helps keep your hands from become barbeque (I like to heat up the grate then brush it one last time before cooking).

Brush okay, scraper useless
This brush works fine but the scraper element on the tip is too small to fit over the bars on my weber grill. So the only way to clean the grill is to brush and brush and brush whereas just one scrape with a fitted scraper would do a much better job. At least it cleans up easily - just rinse with warm soapy water. 2005-01-02

Just a brush with a nice handle and the Weber logo.
After buying my first Weber, I was so impressed with both the build quality of the grill and customer service, I was an instant 'Weber fanboy' and so I bought the stainless 3 piece toolset (now thats built tough!) and the Weber grill brush. After past experience with cheaper brass brushes ($1-$2) flattening in no time I expected (one reviewer here claimed it to be so anyway) this would be different. It's not different, just a bigger handle. It would seem brass is brass, and whatever you have experienced in the past for any brass brush applies to this one as well.
Seems such a waste to discard just because the bristles go flat..
I might try a very similiar model (not Weber) that has a re
placeable head, although the price difference seems meager.
