Heavier than air
For all of the poor grillers who can't get the spark lighter to work, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Propane is heavier than air. If that doesn't make a light go on, then just try adjusting the probe from the Prezo lighter a tiny bit lower. That will get the spark into the escaping fuel, and it'll light every time. If it doesn't, you don't have it adjusted properly.

I'm on my second Weber Go-Anywhere gas grill. I'm on my second Flavorizer plate in the second grill, and I know that eventually I'll have to get a new gas valve, too. I use it three to five times a week. I've grilled for six at one time (but that's pushing it). Yup, the comments about the low heating power and uneven heat are justified. You are not going to blacken a steak with this grill if used according to instructions. Obviously, using it as much as I do, I think it is a good product. After a while you'll get the hang of it. You might even get to the point where you can use the uneven heat to advantage. This grill is more of a smoker than a char-broiler. So, it's a different type of grilling. I use a 20 pound propane tank, but you can get 10 pound and 5 pound tanks. The latter is perfect for a picnic or a camping trip (as long as you can carry it in a safe place). Weber did change the handles from wood to plastic. The wood, while flamable, never got too hot on my first grill. The plastic/ceramic handles on my second grill get as hot as a space shuttle tile on reentry, and are a perfect example of what happens when something that isn't broke is fixed.

The Weber Go-Anywhere is far from perfect, but is very efficient, and with the price of propane, I think it is a useful appliance for the money. Just don't expect to flame broil.

Great Cooking Grill - Tricky to Lite
Sturdy construction, good venting. The heat diffuser plate works good to keep from charring the food and still allows plenty of heat for searing.

The unit comes with a pushbutton ignition device that is located at the far end of the burner. So when you turn the gas control to HIGH and then start using the pushbutton, often - the flame will flash since the entire length of the burner has to fill up with propane as well as the space below the diffuser plate. I now use a lighter to inject a flame closer to the gas control. No worse than any other small propane grill.

Of course - light the grill with the lid off.

Awesome value...Awesome deal
I just recently bought this grill. My girlfriend and I wanted something we could take out on picnics and elsewhere. I'm glad I did. This little baby worked fine. It started up on the first push of the ignitor. It heated up fast as fast can be. We made s few salmon filets and grilled veggies and were knocked out by the results. Money well penny.

Update time...after one year

I still feel as i did from the start. This is one nice grill. The ignitor did go out on my, but I find it just as easy to use a hand held gas "match". Sometimes I wish it got hotter, but on the whole the temps are just fine. All in all it has worked out nicely

Quality not up to cost
I had 2 of these thinking that the first one was defective. I ended up returning the second one also. The handles got to hot to touch after a few minutes of grilling. I also had a fire under the "flavorizer" bars that are supposed to vaporize all drippings, that I thought was going to get out of control and blow up the propane tank.

For what this unit costs, I guess I wanted more from it.
