Weber 751001 22 1/2-Inch One-Touch Gold Charcoal Grill, Black

This is my second Weber kettle--the first one finally wore out after 25 years. The One-Touch Gold is even better. They cook beautifully, and are pretty foolproof.

The Weber kettle grill is very well constructed and quite stable. The mechanism that opens the air vents at the bottom is also very effective at forcing the ash acculmulation into the ash catcher. The ash catcher design is far superior to that of my previous grill from a different manufacturer. The assembly instructions could have been a little clearer, but it was still relatively easy to assemble, and there were only a few components that needed to be assembled. If you are looking for a charcoal grill, this is the only one to consider. The only way it could be improved is if it came with side shelves. You can only get side shelves on the model that comes with a propane starter, and that model costs an extra $165.

Well, a Weber is a Weber.
You get what you pay for, right?

It works well-just like we thought it would. It's all you've ever wanted in a charcoal grill. We added the Slide Aside to hold the lid and the tool holder.

We always preferred a charcoal grill. They just don't get much better than this....
