Great grill, so easy to use!
This is so much better than our old grill, it is easy to empty ashes and only one vent on the bottom to open and close. It's great!

Even better than the original
We bought our first Weber grill 20 years ago and loved it, but after being left out in the elements that long, the wooden handles rotted off. I bought my husband a new one for Father's Day, but upgraded to the Gold model which is much better because there is a pan with a handle to catch the ashes, so it is MUCH easier to dispose of them. Also, the handles on the newer models are not made of wood anymore, so I think they will last longer.

great grill
This grill has turned my husband from a grilling amatuer into a grilling pro. We love that it has an easy way to get rid of the grilling ashes.

I love my Weber grill!
This grill has it all: plenty of space to cook for a crowd, easy one touch ventilation control, convenient ash catcher, etc. I tossed out my gas grill after getting this one and a copy of the book, "How to Grill: The Complete Illustrated Book of Barbecue Techniques" by Steven Raichlen. I would highly recommend getting the chimney starter as it works better than anything to light coals quickly. Set up is very fast as the directions take you step by step even though it's should be a no brainer to set up for most. Out of the box, I had mine up and going within 15 minutes.

Woman's best friend...
Several months ago, I was told by my beloved hubby that he really, really, really wanted THIS Weber Grill for his upcoming birthday.

Whilst shopping at the grill store, I found a plethora of much less expensive grills (and they all looked the same to me), but remembered his specific comments about wanting a Weber Grill.

After he blew out the candles on his birthday cake, he opened a tiny cardboard box and found a single piece of charcoal inside, carved into the shape of a heart and he figured out what his new gift was.

Like a kid with a new bike, he couldn't wait to assemble his new grill. It went together quickly and easily, with only a short delay occasioned by the installation of the ash collector. Shortly thereafter, he started cooking with charcoal and hasn't quit. Almost every night, he cooks chicken, hot dogs, steaks, hamburgers and more on his grill. The food is always evenly cooked and incredibly tasty.

Every now and then, I offer to cook dinner in the oven, but he says NO! and states that he'd much rather cook out on the grill. Recently, I confessed to him that while shopping for this gift, I nearly purchased a much cheaper grill. In response to this confession, the hubby's eyes got big and in a very serious voice he said, "I would have been mighty sad if you'd bought anything other than a Weber."

Weber, it would seem, has a well-deserved reputation and this backyard grill has many nice features that make grilling easy and fun. It appears to be wonderfully sturdy and well constructed. It's not too bad looking and it does a wonderful job on the meat. I'm not a big meat-eater but I almost can't resist the taste and smell of a cheeseburger cooked on the Weber Grill.

Having used this grill for several months, I'd have to say that it really is worth the extra money to get a Weber. :)
