Weber 16124 Barbecue Mitt, Black

This is the second Weber Mitt that I've tried. They both burned through within two weeks. There are other, heavier-duty mitts avaiable that will last a lot longer.

This is a very nice mitt, although not as good as another one I have which is a bit heavier. Still a good buy, though.

I found the mitt to be too stiff to be of any real use. You can't really pick up or handle any utensils with the mit on. You can move hot plates, etc. but you can't really carry anything with the mitt on. Not worth the money albeit not very expensive.

These mitts are good quality. Problem is that the thumbs are way to short and narrow rendering these mitts virtually useless. Do yourself a favor and go to a store where you can try stuff like this before you buy.

I bought these because I'm always burning my arms when I remove bread from my oven. These gloves cover my arms to the elbow and are flexible enough to allow me to handle bread pans easily. The price is outstanding; I saw the same thing at one of the chain home stores for $7.99 each.
