Weber 3617 One-Touch Cleaning System

This was a quick fix for my weber grill, shipping was fast & I had it repaired in 10 minutes.

The shaver works well and is relatively quiet. However, the system seems to have a two week timer built in that forces the user to change the cleaning fluid every two weeks, even if the cleaning cycle hasn't been used every day. The unit will not perform the cleaning cycle until the cleaning solution is changed. This forces the user to buy more cleaning solution even if it is still good. Also, the cleaning soltuion is very difficult to find. I had to resort to buying it online through Amazon or eBay. If the shaver is not rinsed off thoroughly after the cleaning cycle, the shaver surface tends to "stick" to the facial skin and not glide smoothly, even if a preshave lotion is used. One final note about the user's manual. It is awful and doesn't explain what the LED's are telling you when they flash. It seems to be incomplete and was obviously written by someone who doesn't know English grammar.

I bought a Weber 22" kettle from a garage sale for 7 bux and the cleaning system was completely rusted out. I cut the rusted parts away with a Dremel and cleaned the kettle. I then bought this replacement part and bam - like new again. Very easy to install and use. And very cheap too !
