Quality Grill, Nice Features, Great Grates
This grill is excellent! I love grilling on my Patio Pro. The grill comes with cast iron grates which cook much more evenly and quickly that the standard metal grates on most retail grills. I normally have hot coals in three-fourths of the grill where I can sear my steaks and then move them over indirect heat to complete the cooking process. The cast iron grates evenly distribute the heat so the steaks cook quickly even over indirect heat. The grill is big enough to easily cook a full meal for my family of four. I've had two large steaks (enough for 4 when cut in two), four baked potatoes, and six mini cobs on the grill all at once. The pull out ash tray makes it easy to empty the ashes and also to access the charcoal without removing the grates during cooking to place smoker chips for flavor. This grill is also heavy duty. Grilling 1 to 3 times per week wore out my $50 walk-a-bout grill in 18 months. This grill should last for years. Finally, the grill was not all that difficult to put together. It took a couple of hours to put together at a leisurely pace, but wasn't overly complicated. If you are in the market for a small high quality grill with some nice features, buy this one!

Just the right size
This is the neatest little grill! I purchased this particular one because I'd already purchased the big one three years ago. This little one will keep me from having to tackle the big one when I don't need as much power. I can just roll this "baby" out. I thought putting it together was going to be "royal headache" but it wasn't. Albeit, I think it was easier bechause already had the "mama" grill. Love it!

great product for the money
We wanted a small charcoil (not gas) grill and after exensive research we got Char-Griller Patio Pro Model. Arrived quickly and was relatively easy to put together (although the instructions were not extremely helpful).
It only takes a handfull of briquets and about 30 min to have it ready for cooking. I only wish you could adjust the height of the grates (that's why I'd gave it 4.5 stars instead of 5) but is not a big deal. Incredibly easy to clean. We use it now at least 1-2 times a week and have a great meal for 4-6 in no time.

You'd better be an "Assembly Pro"
The grill itself performs well, once you figure out how to put it together (and I'm a retired architect). The manual is in chinglish, and there are MANY loose parts.... some incorrectly identified. Assembly required half a day. One of the wheel hubs came broken, so one wheel is now held on with a large rubber band. Since it was made in China, I despair of getting a replacement, and I'm certainly not going to take it apart and send it back at this point! (the wheel is one of the last things to go on.)
