Weber Grill Cover
Cover is made of very heavy material so I expect it to last a long time. I was disppointed that it has (2) large vent holes (?) in it that allow water to get to the grill, that is why I bought the cover, to keep it dry. 2008-02-19

Great grill cover
You bought a great grill. Now, buy a great cover. It's thick, strong and fits like a glove. 2008-01-26

DO NOT BUY FOR S320 GRILL!!!
I read about the side vents but they were not too clear whether it will affect the S320 as well. When I looked at the product photo, it seemed the vents were below the left and right tables. I was wrong. Those were the velcro straps you can use to snugly fit the cover on the grill so it will not get blown away. The vents were on the left and right side of the cover, on the fabric ABOVE the tables. It rained a day after I received the cover. When I checked it after the rain, there were puddles of water on both side tables. I took a couple of photos and will post them here. The quality of the material and the fit is great. I really do not understand why they placed the vents there. That ruined what could have been a perfect Genesis grill cover. 2008-01-20

Limited protection from the elements
As happy as I am with the Genesis 320 grill, I don't understand the ventilation design on these weber genesis covers. There are 2 side vents that seem to do little to protect rain and snow from ending up on my new grill. From my perspective, that kind of defeats the purpose of having a grill cover in the first place.
** Just a quick update - I sent a similar email to Weber and some grilling forums to ask about the placement of vents that seem to take the complete brunt of rain and snow, and to suggest that I believe the older vent placement seems to make a little more sense. As I understand the response, these grill covers seem to be primarily designed to protect a grill from dust and leaves. I would prefer to buy a grill cover designed to protect my grill from the rougher elements. I suspect that most customers purchasing a grill cover are less worried about protecting their side tables from the taxing blow of some leaves grazing them, and more interested in a solution that helps protect their grill from the impact of rain and snow. Yes, a vent or vents are needed in a grill cover to prevent issues with condensation. Yet, a more strategic placement of the grill cover vents would be preferred by me.
