Great Grill!
Before purchasing this grill, I owned a relatively 'good' CharBroil model. After getting fed-up with uneven cooking, flare-ups, and cheap construction, I decided to step-up to the Weber. I have no complaints - this grill is fantastic. Starts easily, cooks eavenly, and there are no flare-ups. The grill is extremely solid and feels like a high-end appliance. I have used it 15 - 20 times already, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to invest in a grill. It's worth spending a few extra dollars to get the quality of a Weber. I can tell this grill is going to last.

One Small Negative
I have had this grill for one month. It is my second Weber and I agree with the other posters regarding the quality. The only thing that wasn't (IMHO) thought out very well was the controls. By putting them on the right side instead of in front, we've lost the use of that side as a plate holder, etc.
Let the flaming begin!

points off for very poor documentation
I've had this grill for about a month and overall I am quite happy with it. However, the documentation is simply unacceptable for a product in this price range. For example, there isn't a word in the instructions about care of the grate, or how to clean the grease tray. The assembly instructions are almost indecipherable (and I am an engineer), and an important brace is shown only on a separate 'errata' sheet.

I understand most companies now ship instructions in many languages, and this increases their costs. Even so, for a few dollars more Weber could have included decent assembly instructions, usage instructions, and "tips."

(I notice that the instructions we printed on cheap paper and small print, but they managed to include a glossy, fully color accessory catalog.)

The poor documentation is not a reason to not buy this grill - but Weber should be ashamed of short-changing their customers on such a basic item.

Best gets Better
I recently retired my 2 burner Weber "SPIRIT" grill which I've had for approxamately ten years. The Genesis is a wonderful grill that I can't say enough about and its all good. I'm know it will be around for many years. Sure its a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Best Grill for its Price
The Weber Genesis 310 (same as the 320 but without the side burner) it is without a doubt the best grill out there for the money. Just feel how heavy it is....feels solid and sturdy. Putting it together wasn't as difficult as expected.

Take care of it and should last you a long time.
