Weber 3751001 Genesis E-320 Propane Gas Grill, Black

Just saw that the Weber Genesis E-320 was rated #1 in June '08 Consumer Reports. I agree 100%. Have had ours for about a month, using 2-3 times/week. I assembled myself in about 3 hours - a helper would have cut it to 2. Every part fit together perfectly. Assembly instructions are excellent. Heats quickly. Cooks quickly and evenly. It is a pleasure - my wife (our home is equal opportunity) is in grill-heaven!

This is a great grill. Solidly built, and not too hard to assemble. It is very heavy, so if you plan to assemble it, make sure you have some help for lifting.

After having used the Weber Genesis E320 Propane Gas Grill for a month. I can truly say I'm very happy and glad I purchased this model.

Pros:
-Easy to assemble.
-Solid construction.
-Ready to grill in 15 minutes at 550 degrees. Tops out at over 650 degrees. (In both cases the lid must be down)
-The flavorizer bars work as advertised. They let just enough flame lick the food creating minimal flareups.
-The side burner works really well too. You can deep fry onion rings or french fries in small batches.

Cons:
-Control knobs are located on the top right-hand table. Front and center would have been most efficient.
-Casters are small and of hard plastic. Larger rubber casters are more durable and would make traversing around easier.

Additional notes:
After I assembled the grill I pushed it to its final destination. Very carefully I might add because of the small casters. I put the tank inside the grill cabinet and hooked it up. I figure the grill plus tank weighs around 170lbs.

I've grilled fish, chicken, steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, vegetables and even French toast. This is grilling at it's finest.

In my opinion I would highly recommended the Weber Genesis E320 Propane Gas Grill.

I also purchased the Weber cover that fits the grill.

The cover is an absolute failure! There are two large square meshed vents on top. When it rains it lets all the water in. I had to uncover the grill to let it dry off. This means that every time it rains I get to uncover it! I don't have a covered patio so thats out of the question.

This is my 2nd Weber, my 5th grill. Before I bought it I did alot of research to see if I could better my weber of 10 years(I used my Weber at least 2x per week for 10 yrs, even in the winter). After many days of going to stores and searching online I saw my new e-320 and had to have it. My old weber was still kicking and would fire w/ one push of the igniter, I just out grew its size as my grilling is becoming more advanced than hotdogs. In fact my younger brother made me give it to him, and he through away his 2 year old Kenmore. It heats up quick, and the heat is very even. This grill will probably be my last, if not, Weber is the only brand for me.

This is a wonderfull BBQ. Easy assembly, attractive, instant light , consealed propane tank, large cooking area,even heat, easily regulated, second burner for sauces , beans, soups, etc.. Awesome!
