Oregon Scientific AW131 Grill Right Wireless Talking Oven/Barbeque Thermometer

If you like to cook, a wireless thermometer is a MUST. I bought this one as a gift. I got it because the red color matches the kitchen of the person I gave it to. They love it and love the talking aspect.

The one I bought for myself does not talk and talking is not a necessity, but a fun option.

These things make cooking any meat easy. Whether its chicken, turkey, ham, roast beef, or pork this will make a perfect moist meat without wondering, guessing the time, or having to cut into it and check.

I know how to cook and am pretty good at it, but this makes it so much easier. Not only does the meat get to the perfect temperature with precise control, but you get to watch it while you are watching TV or doing something else.

So crack open a beer and set it on the stand, or clip it to your belt while you get some cleaning done and you are no longer tied to the kitchen.

These also make great house warming gifts.

I've owned it for more than a month now, and I haven't had a single problem with it. For those of you who own or owned other wirless therometers ( for outdoor temp ) the idea that occasionally they will need to be reset is not a big deal. I'm expecting it with this one since reading past reviews, but have yet to have it happen, and I use it at least once a week.

This is awesome! I got it for my dad for x-mas and the whole family wanted to use it. Good product for the money.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and we have really enjoyed it! It makes grilling so much easier, we each get our steaks done just the way we like them. We have also had excellent results using this thermometer with chicken and hamburgers. It lets you select what type of meat you're working with and exactly how you want it cooked(well done is the only option you have for pork or chicken).

This a great product. It does everything they say it will do. However, know that you must synch the two units upon initial use. You have to turn both units on at the exact same time. This makes them synch-up with each other. After that, it works like a charm.
