Fantastic Grill!
The Weber Q320 has everything I was looking for in a BBQ. This is the first grill I have ever owned, but my experience using other Weber models was what led me to the Q series. I have a small patio, so the compact size of the grills in the Q series was just what I needed. I was orignally going to purchase the Q300, but then I saw the Q320 here on Amazon. The only difference I found between the Q300 and Q320 is the addition of an electronic iginition and the handle light on the 320. Both features come in very handy and make the Q320 well worth the extra money.
Although it took a couple of hours the Q320 was easy to put together and the instructions were very easy to follow. One piece arrived broken, so I called Weber's customer service number listed on the owners manual and they sent a new piece with instructions on how to replace it.
My favorite features are the electronic ignition, handle light, and the heavy cast iron grates. I also purchased the Weber 9933 Premium Q Cover and it fits perfectly.

Weber Q 320 Grill
This is the best grill my husband and I have owned. It cooks steaks quickly sealing in the juice. It cooks evenly, no hot and cool spots like many grills we have owned. It arrived sooner than expected, a very nice suprise. Also the best price and shipping charges! 2008-05-13

Weber Q320: A Great Gas Grill
Assembling the Weber Q320 looked a bit daunting when I first opened the box and saw how many parts there were, but the directions that Weber sent where complete and well written, so my assembly much faster and more smoothly than I first thought that it would.
I've owned a number of Weber grills through the years, and have always considered them well made; this unit did not disappoint. Once setup, this Weber is quite sturdy, and has a pleasant design that is attractive.
There is a bit more plastic in the construction--mainly the pedestals and legs the unit rests on--than I prefer, but it doesn't affect the stability of the unit, which sits quite solidly upright. Overall, even with the plastic components, the build quality of this grill seems very good.
Hooked up to a full propane tank, the Weber ignited forthwith and heated up to cooking temperature quickly. A convenient built in thermometer takes the guess work out of cooking temperatures. Two shelves at each end give good surface area for plates, utensils, and so forth; they fold down easily for storage when the grill is not in use.
Inside the cooking chamber, the slotted, cast iron grilling surface gives ample surface area to cook steaks, burgers, chops, and so forth for two to four people, and is easily removed for cleaning. There is also a removable raised rack for toasting buns or other bread items. With the grill surface removed, there is ample access room to wipe cooking grease and spatters from the inside of unit.
So far our Weber grill cooking efforts have been confined to beef, but the food prepared on our unit has been most satisfactory. Gas grills take a little bit of learning to achieve proper results, especially for those accustomed to grilling on charcoal. Weber includes an informative cooking guide/cookbook with the unit that explains how to get good results with a variety of different meats and other foods.
The Weber Q320 is an ideal size for use by a single or a couple. Bigger families or those wanting to cook for a crowd may want to consider purchasing a larger grill, but the Weber Q320 is a great value in my opinion.

Outstanding Product
The Weber Q 320 is an example of "getting it right". It offers, at a competitive price, an extremely well made and engineered product. Every aspect, from assembly to the easy to use grease tray seems to be well thought out by people who actually had to assemble or use the product.
Assembly takes about an hour or so and was trouble free. The styling, quality and operation of the finished grill exceeded my expectations. This is the first Weber product I have purchased but won't be the last. A nice bonus is that it is made in the USA!

Best Gas Grill I've Used
I've owned much larger steel grills in the past. In fact, the last one I had rusted through entirely, so I sent it to the scrap heap. The Weber Q 320 is the nicest gas grill I've ever cooked on. I love the extensive use of cast aluminum (lid and bottom), cast iron (grates), and stainless steel (burners, warming rack, etc.). The design of the burners and the shape of the lid make the most of the heat produced. I found my larger, rectangular grills very inefficient. The first time I lit the WQ320 I noticed the absence of those fat, orange carburizing flames produced by my old grill. This one seems to produce more BTU's per gallon than any other grill I've used. My first meal cooked on it was half inch thick pork steaks, very lean, seasoned and rubbed with a little EVOO. The sear marks were perfect, and the cast iron grates cook very evenly. I look forward to many years of service from this little jewel. I want to buy the Weber fitted cover for it, but I'm not sure the one made for the WQ300 model will fit my 320. Does anyone out there know for sure? 2008-04-29
